Reimagining Social Housing in France

Prinvault Architectes have redefined social housing in the historic commune of Vincennes, proving that functional architecture can also be aesthetically striking. The project, completed in 2025, consists of 24 modern social housing units integrated into a historical district, emphasising inclusivity and community. With a completion budget of €3.64 million, the project showcases a combination of traditional materials and contemporary design, setting a new standard for socially-conscious architecture across Europe.

Traditional Meets Modern in a Japanese Family Home

Hidekazu Kishi Architects have unveiled a stunning house in Sano, Japan, where traditional elements intertwine with modern aesthetics to create a seamless living experience. Designed for a small family within a cultivated landscape of rice paddies, this home exemplifies harmony with nature, providing serene views and sustainable living solutions. The house stands as a testament to the marriage of cultural heritage and contemporary needs, revealing fresh possibilities for residential architecture in rural settings.

A Futuristic Coffee Experience in China

In Hangzhou, Hill Architecture has crafted a unique coffee shop that doubles as an architectural marvel through its innovative use of space and design. This 2025 project, situated amidst lush tea gardens, features expansive glass and wooden beams that harmonise with the surrounding landscape. By catering to both the traditional and the avant-garde, the New 33 Coffee shop is redefining the coffee shop experience, embodying the spirit of innovation essential for future commercial architecture.
