Can the kitchen open onto the living room?

Yes. I would take that wall down and add a counter. Proposal coming today.

Great, thanks.

— FAQ

Questions about room design online

The questions people ask before changing a single room.

Is it worth hiring a design for one room?

It is when the room does not work: not enough space, poor light, joinery that does not fit. A design solves that before you buy anything.

What do I get?

It depends on the proposal: a layout with measurements, 3D images, a joinery design, a colour palette and a furniture list. Each proposal describes the deliverables before you decide.

Designer or decorator?

If the room needs joinery, lighting or new finishes, an interior designer. If the focus is colour, furniture and objects, a decorator. The brief accepts both.

How much does it cost?

Publishing is free. Each professional sends their own proposal, with a price and a timeline. You pay per stage, as you approve the deliveries.

Do I need a visit?

In most cases, no. When a visit helps, you arrange it directly with the professional.
